Reviews and Ratings
Our stay at the park was very pleasant, with a stylish and high-quality lodge that had all the amenities we needed. The location is ideal for visiting Chester and North Wales, making it convenient for day trips. However, I was surprised by the lack of towels, which is something I didn't expect from a 5-star park. Overall, it's a great choice for a peaceful getaway.
I just returned from a lovely 4-night stay at a lodge that exceeded my expectations. The accommodation was clean, spacious, and well-furnished, which made our family trip so much more enjoyable. The park itself was nice and quiet, creating a real sense of community. However, the lack of provided towels was a bit inconvenient for us. Overall, I would definitely recommend staying here, especially for those looking to explore Chester.
Our stay at this park was a mixed bag. While the location was fantastic being close to Chester and attractions like Chester Zoo, we faced a major hiccup when our accommodation was cancelled last minute due to maintenance, which was incredibly disappointing. On a positive note, when we finally stayed at the lodge, it was comfortable, clean, and had pleasant furnishings. However, we did find it frustrating that towels were not provided for our visit.
Our experience at Fir Trees was largely positive, with an excellent park atmosphere that's clean and tranquil, perfect for a family getaway. The lodge we stayed in was nicely designed and comfortable, suitable for our group. However, it was disappointing that we had to bring our own towels, which is an unusual oversight. Overall, we found great value for money in a pleasant, community-oriented setting.
We had a fantastic family getaway at this park hotel, enjoying a quiet atmosphere while being close to attractions like Chester Zoo and Beeston Castle. The caravan we stayed in was very comfortable and had everything we needed. There were a couple of downsides, particularly not having towels provided and the fact that the lodge was a bit far from some larger amenities, but overall it was a lovely experience, and we would definitely return.
